In August 2015, the woman behind the brand, an MBA holder in marketing from Kingston University UK, launched The Minimalist Boutique after she moved to Bahrain from London. She designed her first collection and went straight to her clients by selling it via social media. Nida's collection was inspired by the phrase “less is more”. It was intriguingly minimal but at the same time had edgy cuts that made ladies pop and be noticed. Within a few months of launching, the brand received tremendous appreciation and interest, building a significant customer base not only in Bahrain but throughout the GCC. The Minimalist Boutique has some key characteristics: Mid-ranged price points for a designer brand that does not compromise on quality and contemporary cuts. The brand doesn’t limit itself to a particular segment of women, instead, it is willing to target women from all walks of life; from professionals to stay at home mums. The brand caters for all occasions, be it a trip out to lunch or a special occasion!
